Chad is a founder of Assurance Forensic Accounting. Throughout his career, he has analyzed thousands of claims for income loss, inventory loss and fraud. Furthermore, he has provided expert testimony in both federal and state courts regarding matters of accounting analysis, lost income, fraud and the evaluation of financial projections. In addition to his experience in forensic accounting, Chad has a solid traditional accounting and business advisory background with substantial experience in the preparation and audit of financial statements, as well as the preparation and review of complex income tax returns for corporations and partnerships.
Chad often serves as an instructor on business income loss, inventory loss and fraud matters. He has presented continuing education seminars to insurance professionals, attorneys, accountants and students. Outside of the office, Chad enjoys the outdoors. He is a fitness enthusiast and participates in cycling and running events.

Dennis is a founder of Assurance Forensic Accounting. He started his public accounting career in 1990 at Campos & Stratis, working in the insurance sector handling mainly commercial insurance claims. In 2004 he co-founded Assurance Forensic Accounting with Chad Thompson. Dennis has been involved in evaluating thousands of insurance claims rising from a number of catastrophes including the Northridge Earthquake, Hurricane Katrina and the recent Deep Water Horizon oil spill. Dennis specializes in handling claims and losses related to business income, employee dishonesty, and inventory. He is well versed in the complexities of the insurance industry and has given many seminars to help adjusters learn the intricacies of calculating losses themselves.
Away from the office, Dennis enjoys spending time with his family and occasionally sneaking off to the lake for a quiet day of fishing.

Nadine is a Principal at Assurance Forensic Accounting. She has a broad base of accounting experience. She started her career as an auditor of small to mid-sized privately-held businesses. In addition to auditing, she also prepared the associated businesss income tax returns. Nadine used her financial experience as a platform to enter the forensic accounting sector. She has evaluated a significant number of lost income, property loss and employee dishonesty loss claims including those arising from high profile events such as Hurricanes Katrina and Ike, California & New Mexico wildfires, New York steam pipe explosion, Midwest flooding and the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. In addition to her technical expertise, her interpersonal skills and professionalism make her invaluable in negotiations and explaining technical concepts to non-accountants.
Outside of the office, Nadine enjoys spending time with her family. Nadine is a fitness fanatic. She makes it a goal to participate in a 5k or 10k each month.

Bill is the firm’s Director of Fraud Services. As a forensic accountant, fraud examiner, and former federal supervisory auditor and investigator, Bill has analyzed over 400 claims, persons, and entities associated with alleged malfeasance, misfeasance, and professional malpractice, as well as divorce litigation. He has testified as an expert witness in federal and state courts on bank, bankruptcy mail and wire fraud, as well as check kiting, racketeering, money laundering employee dishonesty, tax evasion, arson-for-profit and divorce-related finances. During his ten years with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, Bill received seven commendations and five awards, including the Southeast Region Employee of the Year. In addition, he received four special act awards from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and Resolution Trust Corporation, Offices of Inspector General.
Bill is also a part-time Accounting Professor for Brenau University and Southern Polytechnic State University, where he teaches Auditing & Assurance, Fraud Examination, Principles of Accounting, and Survey of Accounting.
